Hans Biebow (December 18, 1902 - April 24, 1947) was head of the Lodz Ghetto's German administration. He enjoyed wide powers in the administration: he extracted profits from slave labour and confiscated Jewish personal property. Biebow was one of the officials who organized the first transports to Chełmno nad Nerem (renamed Kulmhof) death camp and participated actively in the liquidation of the Lodz Ghetto in 1944. In 1946, Biebow stood trial in Lodz; he was found guilty, sentenced to death and executed in 1947.
